An inefficient cast iron insert was removed and a large inglenook formed in the chimney breast. A made to measure polished black granite hearth was laid and the Woodpecker WP5 Plus multifuel stove installed. Its fabulous wide glass door gives a generous view of the flames. The positioning of the stove made it unfeasible to install a solid oak beam so instead a Focuscast fascia beam was installed in a light oak effect finish and we don’t think you can tell the difference as it all looks amazing!
